Complete e-Bike For Sale - Marin Stinson Classic Step-through/Ladies' Bike

This bike has been virtually unused since its original incarnation was built approximately 30 years ago. So little in fact that the little rubber spikes always found on new tyres are still there.

A lovely bike now brought up to date with the addition of a powerful mid-drive motor, 14.5Ah (522Wh) lithium-ion battery as well as a few more nice upgrades sympathetic to its classical lines and traditional appearance.

This bike has not been converted for speed, It has been modified to give the user a considerable amount of help getting up hills. It has been configured with a more genteel user in mind, a cyclist who wants to combine exercise with practical use; either a commute to work, a visit to friends or a trip to the supermarket. It is a perfect urban e-bike.

Apart from one scratch on the frame, probably acquired during its decades in storage, the bike is immaculate and I believe the modifications stick to the essence of the original while adding comfort and practicality as well as the myriad benefits of electrical power.

Delivery within a radius of 10 miles from Carlisle city centre is free. Other areas within Cumbria a £30 delivery fee will be added. Outside Cumbria a charge of 35p per mile will be added.

Bike Security - A Special Mention

Your e-bike is a valuable item. How you lock and secure your bike is a matter of personal choice. We would strongly recommend that your purchase a suitable D-lock or chain to have peace of mind when out and leaving your bike anywhere where it may be vulnerable to theft.

We can fit a frame lock to your bike (similar to the one pictured below) for an extra £40.00. This is addition to any other lock you choose to use. This type of lock, locks through the rear wheel and acts as a extra deterrent to opportunistic theft (although a determined thief will always find a way). This lock is always on your bike and is perfect if you nip into a shop or are somewhere where you can see your bike. It is not a substitute for a chain or D-lock. It's extra.
